This article contains information on the various buffs sourced from dragons (drakes) in Summoner's Rift.

There are currently three types of buffs that can be obtained via dragons, and in this order each game: the stacking Dragon Slayer, the Dragon Soul which is awarded to the first team that earns the fourth Dragon Slayer stack, and Aspect of the Dragon which is awarded to all teammates alive upon taking down the An icon representing Elder Dragon Elder Dragon after the Dragon Soul has been claimed. The rewards for Dragon Slayer and the Dragon Soul vary, depending on the type of drake slain.

The Dragon Soul is a powerful team-wide neutral buff granted by the An icon representing Dragon Dragon.

The team that obtains 4 stacks of An icon representing Dragon Slayer Dragon Slayer first will receive the soul of the element that dominates the rift. The Dragon Soul is a powerful buff that is granted permanently to all members of a team.

  • While below 50% maximum health, gain 13% increased damage and damage reduction.

  • Gain  15% bonus movement speed, increased to 60% for 6 seconds after casting your ultimate ability (30 second cooldown).

Hextech Dragon Soul
  • Dealing damage to an enemy with basic attacks or ability damage causes them to be struck with electricity, dealing 25 – 50 (based on level) bonus true damage and slowing them by ( 45% / 35%) (+ 3% per 100 bonus AD) (+ 1% per 100 AP) (+ 0.5% per 100 bonus health) decaying over 2 seconds, while chaining the effect to up to 3 enemies near the primary target. The slow can stack from multiple sources and the decay rate is decreased against ranged champions (8 second cooldown).

  • Damaging basic attacks and abilities trigger an explosion around the target, dealing 100 (+ 22.5% bonus AD) (+ 13.5% AP) (+ 2.75% bonus health) adaptive damage to the target and nearby enemies (3 second cooldown).

  • After not taking damage for 5 seconds, gain a shield for 220 (+ 16% bonus AD) (+ 12% AP) (+ 12% bonus health).

    • When a team kills their fourth Elemental Drake, they'll gain a powerful Dragon Soul from the dominant dragon (the one that transformed the Rift). Dragon Souls persist through death and last the remainder of the game.
      • Cloud Dragon Soul: Grants 10% bonus movement speed, increased to 40% bonus movement speed for 3 seconds after casting your ultimate (30 second cooldown).
      • Infernal Dragon Soul: Damaging abilities and basic attacks create an explosion around the target, dealing 90 (+ 25% bonus AD) (+ 15% AP) (+ 3% bonus health) adaptive damage to the target and nearby enemies (3 second cooldown).
      • Mountain Dragon Soul: After not taking champion damage for 5 seconds, gain a shield for 225 (+ 20% bonus AD) (+ 15% AP) (+ 15% bonus health).
      • Ocean Dragon Soul: Dealing damage to enemies restores 180 (+ 40% bonus AD) (+ 25% AP) (+ 10% bonus health) health and 90 (+ 4% maximum mana) mana over 3 seconds. Damage to minions and monsters regenerates with 30% effectiveness.
  • An icon representing Aspect of the Dragon Aspect of the Dragon
    • New buff icon and VFX.
    • New Effects:
      • Damaging enemies causes them to burn for 90 – 270 (based on minutes) true damage over 3 seconds. Damaging an enemy champion below 20% of their maximum health blasts them with Elder Immolation after 0.5 seconds, dealing 100% of their maximum health as true damage. Elder Immolation has no cooldown. Lasts 180 seconds and is lost on death.
      • Elder Immolation can't execute enemies through invulnerability effects like An icon for the item Zhonya's Hourglass Zhonya's Hourglass or undying effects like An icon representing Kindred Kindred's An icon for Kindred's ability Lamb's Respite Lamb's Respite.
    • Old Effects:
      • Aspect of the Dragon: Damage to non-turret units burns them for 45 + (45 per An icon representing Dragon Slayer Dragon Slayer stack) bonus true damage over 3 seconds and reveals them for the duration. Also increases the strength of all An icon representing Dragon Slayer Dragon Slayer buffs by 50%. Lasts for 150 seconds.
      • Empowered Aspect of the Dragon: Dealing damage to non-turrets burn the target for 135 + (90 per An icon representing Dragon Slayer Dragon Slayer stack) bonus true damage over 3 seconds and reveals them for the duration. Also increases the strength of all An icon representing Dragon Slayer Dragon Slayer buffs by 100%. Lasts for 300 seconds.

      • Basic attacks and spells burn the target for (45 × An icon representing Elder Dragon Elder Dragons slain) (+ 45 per Elemental Dragon Mark) damage over 3 seconds and increases the strength of Elemental Dragon buffs by 50%. This stack only lasts 120 seconds or until death.
    • Enhanced An icon representing Infernal Drake Infernal Drake: + 12 / 24 / 36% (based on Stacks) attack damage and ability power.

    • Dragon's Might (1 stack): +8% total attack damage and ability power.
    • Dragon's Dominance (2 stacks): +15% damage to minions and monsters.
    • Dragon's Flight (3 stacks): +5% movement speed.
    • Dragon's Wrath (4 stacks): +15% damage to turrets and buildings.
    • Aspect of the Dragon (5 stacks, repeatable): Doubles all other bonuses and your attacks burn enemies for 150 true damage over 5 seconds. Lasts 180 seconds.
