Description
Passive: Whenever you gain a shield, your next basic attack against an enemy champion is empowered to deal 5 – 30 (based on level) (+ 2.5% bonus health) (+ 15% shield amount) bonus adaptive damage. The empowered attack lasts for up to 2 seconds after the shield expires.
Adaptive Damage: This effect deals either physical or magic damage depending on the damage contribution from your  attack damage and  ability power to the effect's damage formula.
  • Greater bonus damage from the  AD ratioPhysical damage
  • Greater bonus damage from the  AP ratioMagic damage
If the damage contribution of  AD and  AP are zero or otherwise equal, the damage type depends on the effect's particular default.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Shield Bash's shield scaling is calculated with the highest value of shield that is either currently active or has expired within the last 2 seconds. Gaining a new shield while Shield Bash is active will replace the previous empowerment if the new shield is larger than any other currently active shield.
    • Once the empowered attack has been used, all previously applied shield instances become invalid for subsequent triggers for Shield Bash, even if the shield lingers.
  • Shield Bash's shield scaling is calculated with the initial maximum value of the shield.
    • If the shield value increases over multiple instances, then Shield Bash will scale with the highest instance of shielding that has been achieved.
  • Shield Bash can only trigger once per gained shield.
  • Shield Bash works with magic and physical shields.
