Description
Passive: Basic attacks
on-hit against enemy
champions apply a stack for 4 seconds, refreshing on subsequent applications, expiring upon attacking a new champion, and stacking up to 3 times. The third stack consumes all stacks to deal 40 – 160 (based on level) bonus
adaptive damage and grant you 8% increased damage against champions until you are no longer in combat with them.

Adaptive Damage: This effect deals either physical or magic damage depending on the damage contribution from your
attack damage and
ability power to the effect's damage formula.
AD and
AP are zero or otherwise equal, the damage type depends on the effect's particular default.

- Greater bonus damage from the
AD ratio → Physical damage
- Greater bonus damage from the
AP ratio → Magic damage

Cooldown
6 seconds
Press the Attack is a rune in League of Legends.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Application is individually tracked and does not interact among multiple users.
- Effects that allow the application of on-hit effects multiple times in one issued attack (e.g. , , , ) will also apply additional stacks of Press the Attack.
- The basic attack that triggers Press the Attack's third stack does not benefit from the increased damage.
- Press the Attack's
adaptive damage is not applied as an
on-hit effect and is not affected by on-hit penalties.
- However, any damage over time or follow-up effects that come with the basic attack will be affected (e.g. , and every follow-up ).
- Damage dealt on the same frame that the buff is gained will not be amplified.
- The triggering Press the Attack proc does not benefit from the increased damage but future procs that occur while affected by the damage buff will.
