This page documents all confirmed changes and additions to cosmetics & gameplay found on the PBE server for League of Legends. Information added here is sourced from the game directly or must otherwise reference official Riot accounts.

Documented changes may or may not be final—cancelled content from the current PBE cycle should be stricken-through, or moved to the Upcoming section if confirmed/likely to return at a later patch. PBE content is finalized on the Friday before a new Live patch releases, and no later than the Monday at 12 PM PST before a new Live patch releases on rare occasions. At that point, the patch and its content has been locked and will be pushed to all Live regions on the day of the new patch cycle based on Riot's patch schedule. A new PBE cycle usually starts on the Tuesday at exactly 12 PM PST before a new Live patch releases.

  • An icon for Ashe's ability Ranger's Focus Ranger's Focus
    • Now displays Focus stacks as pips under the health bar for the player. The last pip (effect primed) is highlighted, and all pips become highlighted while the active is being used.
An icon representing Caitlyn Caitlyn
  • An icon for Caitlyn's ability Headshot Headshot
    • Now displays Count stacks as pips under the health bar for the player. The last pip (the Headshot) is highlighted.
An icon representing Jax Jax

    • Now displays Grandmaster-At-Arms stacks as pips under the health bar for the player. The last pip (bonus damage) is highlighted.
      • During the active effect, the counter fills 2 pips upon cycling.

 Ranger's Focus
Passive: An icon representing Ashe Ashe's basic attacks generate stacks of Focus, up to a cap. Once the stacks reach the cap, she can cast Ranger's Focus.
Active: Ashe gains  bonus attack speed and augments her basic attacks to fire a flurry of arrows.

 Headshot
Innate: An icon representing Caitlyn Caitlyn's basic attacks generate stacks of Count. At maximum stacks, her next basic attack will fire a Headshot dealing bonus physical damage that scales with her  critical strike chance.
On An icon for Caitlyn's ability Yordle Snap Trap trapped or An icon for Caitlyn's ability 90 Caliber Net netted targets, she gains another Headshot at extra  attack range.

 Grandmaster-At-Arms COOLDOWN: 110 / 100 / 90
Passive: An icon representing Jax Jax's basic attacks generate stacks. At max stacks, he consumes them to deal bonus magic damage.
Active: Jax swings his lantern around, dealing magic damage to nearby enemies. If this hits a champion, he gains bonus resistances. He applies his passive on-hit every 2 stacks instead of every 3 while active.

 Riftwalk COOLDOWN: 5 / 3.5 / 2
Active: Kassadin blinks toward the target location, dealing magic damage to all nearby enemies upon arrival. He then gains a stack of Riftwalk, stacking up to a cap.
Riftwalk: For each stack, Riftwalk gains bonus damage and increased  mana cost.

 Electrical Surge COOLDOWN: 13 / 11.25 / 9.5 / 7.75 / 6
Passive: An icon representing Kennen Kennen's basic attacks on-attack generate a stack of Electrical Surge, which stacks up to a cap. At max stacks, his next basic attack consumes them all to deal bonus magic damage and apply a stack of An icon for Kennen's ability Mark of the Storm Mark of the Storm.
Active: Kennen sends out a surge of electricity that deals magic damage to all nearby enemies afflicted by An icon for Kennen's ability Mark of the Storm Mark of the Storm or within An icon for Kennen's ability Slicing Maelstrom Slicing Maelstrom.

 Twilight Assault COOLDOWN: 8 / 7.25 / 6.5 / 5.75 / 5
Active: An icon representing Shen Shen recalls his Spirit Blade to his location, which shortly slows enemies hit while moving away from him.
Once it arrives, Shen empowers his next three basic attacks within a period to gain  bonus range and deal bonus magic damage based on the target's maximum health.
If the Spirit Blade hit at least one enemy champion during the travel, the empowerment is enhanced and additionally grants him  bonus attack speed.

 Shattered Earth COOLDOWN: 13 / 11.5 / 10 / 8.5 / 7
Active: An icon representing Skarner Skarner rips a boulder out of the ground, empowering his next three basic attacks with  bonus attack speed and bonus physical damage to the target and surrounding enemies. The final attack slams the boulder, dealing additional damage based on each target's maximum health and slowing them.
During Shattered Earth, Skarner may cast:
 Upheaval

Active: Skarner ends Shattered Earth by throwing his boulder, which explodes upon colliding with the first enemy his, mimicking the final attack's damage and effects.

 Stacked Deck
Passive: An icon representing Twisted Fate Twisted Fate gains  bonus attack speed. His basic attacks on-hit generate stacks of Stacked Deck, which stacks up to a cap.
At max stacks, his next basic attack consumes them all to deal bonus magic damage.

 The Relentless Storm
Innate: An icon representing Volibear Volibear's basic attacks and ability hits generate a stack of The Relentless Storm, which stacks up to 5 times. At 5 stacks, he gains Lightning Claws.
The Relentless Storm: For each stack, Volibear gains  bonus attack speed.

Lightning Claws: Volibear's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage that can chain to up to four surrounding enemies.

 Three Talon Strike COOLDOWN: 7 / 6.5 / 6 / 5.5 / 5
Active: An icon representing Xin Zhao Xin Zhao empowers his next few attacks within a duration to deal bonus physical damage and  reduce his other ability cooldowns.
The last empowered attack will also briefly knock up the target.
