Interference is a summoner spell exclusive to Arena that replaces during the downtime before a new round begins. It throws a giant tomato into the battlefield, disrupting other teams' combat. It is available only via the Kled Guest of Honor.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- After the Combat Phase's round winner has been determined, Interference becomes available, and is usable until a new round begins.
- Interference cannot deal damage on a battlefield where combat has ended.
- Casting Interference on your own battlefield places it on a 3-second cooldown.
- All actions are disabled after the team's elimination is determined and combat is over; this affects Interference in the time frame before the eliminated team is able to exit the game.
- Spectators will be attributed an assist in the kill feed, purely for cosmetic purposes, if their tomato hits a champion that is subsequently slain.
- A ground indicator is visible to all players in the game while the tomato is falling.
- The player's Interference slot will flash while the spell is available.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The summoner spell is a clear reference to the historic act of a dissatisfied crowd throwing foodstuff at a speaker or performer—the crowd in this case however is ironically the other players, who interfere in other teams' battles while spectating them.
