Current Patch: Legends of Runeterra
V6.3 LoR Patch Notes

A patch (otherwise known as a new client version) is a modification to the game files of Legends of Runeterra. Every patch will contain one or more of the following materials:

  • Balance changes: changes made to even out the power balance between cards, champions, items or powers.
  • Bug fixes: changes made to correct unintended behaviour in the game.
  • Client/Backend/development changes: technology or configuration changes that go on behind the scenes.
  • Patch Notes: Riot Games Inc.'s official documentation of the changes made.

    Dreamlit Paths is the ninth LoR set.

    Story

    Stories may once per turn activate the current Act and play its corresponding skill of the speed specified in the Story, transforming then to the next Act. After their final Act, Stories are destroyed.

    Boost

    When an ally is Boosted, increase each of its positive stackable keywords by 1 ( Spirit and Impact). When an enemy is Boosted, increase each of its negative stackable keywords by 1 (currently only Gloom).

    Sleep

    Obliterate a unit and recall its attachments to store an exact copy in a 2 Drowsy Dewdrop landmark for one round.

    Spirit
    A unit with Spirit has +1|+1 for each Spirit stack it owns. This keyword is affected by Boost.

    A unit with Gloom has -1|-1 for each Gloom stack it owns. If this makes the unit reach 0 Health, it dies. This keyword is affected by Boost.

    Bandle City
    Bandle City is a region that introduces cards from multiple regions. This region loves to play tricks on their opponent even on hand and deck. This region gives you tons of quick fast units to play on board and ways to refill your hand on units. They also have control tools to deal with dangerous threats.

    Impact

    While attacking, each time the unit with Impact strikes (by combat or with Strike effects, such as 2 Single Combat), it deals combat damage to the enemy Nexus equal to the Impact it owns, all at once.

    Impact damage does NOT count as Nexus Strike, if the unit survived, Impact damage benefits from Lifesteal.

    • Granting Impact to a unit that already has Impact will stack them. When stacks are added, the icon will be replaced with a base and the number of stacks above it. Because Impact is stackable, it is affected by Boost.
    • Grant a specific amount of Impact ("Impact X") only grants up to that amount, and does not stack any more. If the current Impact is smaller, it will increase it to the new larger value.

    Manifest

    Look at 3 random non-Champion cards within specific parameters (depending on the card used), then pick one of them to create in hand.

    Blade Dance
    Start a free attack with a specified number of attacking summoned 1 Blades.

    Multiple Blade Dance effects occur at the same time, only summon more 1 Blades in the same attack.

    Shurima
    Shurima as a region has many tools for summoning and to facilitate slaying units for swift aggression, whittling and weathering down the opponent with large numbers of units, de-buffing effects and board-wide effects, while using mechanics such as Predict and Countdown to set up and guarantee wins, and to have the right cards just when you need them.

    Countdown
    Round Start: Count down 1. At 0, trigger the effect and then destroy the card with Countdown.

    • Countdowns are presented in the format "Countdown X (Y): Effect", where:
      • X is the number that counts down at Round Start.
      • Effect is the effect that triggers when the countdown reaches 0.
      • Y is how close the countdown is to 0 - this number and its brackets only appear on cards that are on the board.
    • It's notable that the Vocab Advance exists which interacts with Countdown.

    Predict
    Look at 3 random cards that are in your deck currently, then either choose one of them, or choose to SKIP by pressing The Button.
    Then, place all cards that weren't selected back into the Deck, and, if a card was chosen, place it onto the top of the deck.

    As of V5.1, Predicting doesn't shuffle the rest of your deck after placing a card on top of it or skipping.

    Reputation

    Once a player has struck for 5+ damage at least 4 times, they become Reputation for the rest of the game.

    If a player are Reputation, their cards with Reputation effects will be applied while they're in hand or in play.

    Landmarks
    Landmarks are a type of card in Legends of Runeterra that take up a space on the board, like units, but can't interact with the same mechanics as units - for example they can't Attack or Block (See also: Immobile), don't have Health or Power, and can't strike.

    Text that can affect Landmarks will explicitly refer to them.

    Nab
    Draw a specified number of non- Champions from the bottom of the enemy deck. Do NOT trigger deck out.

    This also activates the effects of the Boons and Traps planted on them (apply their effects to the player performing the Nab). As well as trigger effects when drawing, like 3 Patrol Wardens.
