Twin Disciplines (Innate) 
- New Innate: Akali tracks her last two uses of Crescent Slash and Shadow Step. For each stored Crescent Slash, Akali gains 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 (based on level) (+15% AP) on-hit magic damage, and for each stored Shadow Step she gains 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 (based on level) (+5% AP) on-hit healing.
Crescent Slash (Q)
- Active: Akali flourishes her kamas, dealing 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 % AD physical damage to all nearby enemies. Crescent Slash will trigger Twin Disciplines against all enemies hit.
- Cooldown: 3.5 seconds
Shadow Step (W)
- Active: Akali vanishes and reappears after a brief delay at the target location, as well as empowering her next attack to apply bonus on-hit effects. The bonus on-hit effects will stack up to 2 times.
- Cooldown: 3.5 seconds
- Target Range: 300
Equilibrium Strike (E)
- This ability cannot be ranked first.
- This ability has three forms, based on the current state of Twin Disciplines.
- QQ - Assassin's Dance: Akali
grapples the target enemy and blinks backward 700 units, carrying them with her. - WQ or QW - Equilibrium Strike: Akali dashes a fixed 1050 units in the target direction, dealing 35 / 55 / 75 / 95 / 115 (+40% AP) magic damage to all enemies hit and leaving a shadow behind. After a brief delay, the shadow dashes forward too, dealing the same damage again.
- WW - Shadow's Reaping: Akali conjures shadows of herself that strike at all surrounding enemies, applying one basic attack against each of them.
- QQ - Assassin's Dance: Akali
- Cooldown: 8 seconds
Twilight Shroud (R)
- Moved to ultimate.
Short blink.- Invisibility is now unbreakable, even while Akali is performing actions. Akali will shimmer whenever she performs an action that would usually break stealth.
- Invisibility is now undetectable, even while Akali is near a source of true sight. Akali will persistently shimmer while near a source of true sight, but is not targetable.

At the moment, AD Twitch doesn't deal damage with that playstyle - which is bad design. It's the same principles as Master Yi's rework. The adjustment to Contaminate was purely because the ability doesn't live up to its name, as it stand (which was the stated reason it's no longer named Expunge). | |

I was personally hurt by this rework, and so am motivated to return Xerath to his former glory. | |
