Storycraft is a series of alternate future/universe skins in League of Legends. Set in the myth of The Great Beast Galio, champions were characters in the story until the arrival of the Lunar Players, who showed them their fate was no longer set in stone.

Stories, myths, legends: within each lies a world unto itself, where characters act out their trials and tribulations over and over as their tales are told and retold.

Lore

Long ago, the defeat of the Great Beast Galio gave rise to Lunar New Year traditions that are carried on through the retelling of that epic tale. Within the story itself lies a living world all its own—but when the world of the story is suddenly interrupted, the characters must work together to fix the mess and see their own myth through.
Creator
  • An icon representing Cassiopeia/Cosmetics Prestige Mythmaker Cassiopeia
At the dawn of time, the goddess Cassiopeia prepares to create humanity using the five elements. But when the Paper World is suddenly changed, Cassiopeia creates something unexpected: a cruel artist who embodies what she fears most in herself. Now, she must repair the damage her creation has inflicted upon the land before he destroys it for good.
The Great Beast Galio
  • An icon representing Galio/Cosmetics Mythmaker Galio
Chromas: Citrine, Emerald, Gilded, Paragon, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Turquoise
The Great Beast Galio is a fearsome creature: proud, powerful, and worthy of the myth that bears his name. Yet each year he is bested, as the story goes, so when Irelia comes to him and tells him that their fates are not writ in stone, Galio listens. If helping her means crafting a new future, he will lend her all his beastly strength.
  • An icon representing Garen/Cosmetics Mythmaker Garen
Chromas: Amethyst, Catseye, Emerald, Gilded, Paragon, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Turquoise
As the town's leader in “The Great Beast Galio”, Garen's chief concern is the safety of his people in the face of a fierce enemy. When the story is thrown off, however, Irelia convinces him to help by showing Garen that Galio can be reasoned with, perhaps even stopped entirely if they make a friend out of a foe.
  • An icon representing Irelia/Cosmetics Mythmaker Irelia
Chromas: Emerald, Gilded, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite
Irelia was always a bystander in the story of “The Great Beast Galio”, watching from the sidelines each year as the story was told again and again… until the day that the Lunar Players crashed into their myth-world, and she found out that her story could change. Now it's time for Irelia to become the hero she wished she could be and write her own destiny.
  • An icon representing Jarvan IV/Cosmetics Mythmaker Jarvan IV
Chromas: Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Turquoise
The region's Emperor, Jarvan IV, does whatever it takes to protect his realm from outsiders, leading him to frequent clashes with other gods. But when the malicious Jhin poses a threat greater than any before, he finds himself working with unlikely allies to pave the way for humanity's survival.
  • An icon representing Jhin/Cosmetics Mythmaker Jhin
Chromas: Catseye, Emerald, Obsidian, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire
Jhin is the first of Cassiopeia's creations after the Lunar Players distort the world of myth. He embodies the mythical snake's most insidious qualities: sinister, calculating, and malicious. Displeased with the goddess's benevolent methods, Jhin plans to recreate humanity in his image and introduce them to the beauty of suffering.
  • An icon representing Nami/Cosmetics Mythmaker Nami
Chromas: Catseye, Obsidian, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Turquoise
Nami's ambition to control the waves led to a destructive battle between her and god-emperor Jarvan IV, causing a great calamity to befall the world. But when the world faces an even greater threat—human nature at its most devious—Nami must swallow her pride and work with her former enemies to stop their story from being rewritten.
  • An icon representing Sivir/Cosmetics Mythmaker Sivir
Chromas: Citrine, Emerald, Gilded, Obsidian, Paragon, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite
Once the hero of “The Great Beast Galio”, Sivir's myth-world is forever changed when the Lunar Players interrupt her climactic battle, and she discovers that she is no longer the protagonist. Grappling with the question of who she is if she's not saving the day, Sivir must now carve out a role for herself in a tale whose future is suddenly unwritten.
    • An icon representing Sivir/Cosmetics Prestige Mythmaker Sivir
Sivir seeks nothing short of opulence, her beautiful clothes symbols of personal success as much as they are points of sartorial pride. It's important that she looks impeccable: the New Year is here, after all, and starting it off right means stepping out in style.
  • An icon representing Zyra/Cosmetics Mythmaker Zyra
Chromas: Citrine, Emerald, Gilded, Paragon, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Ruby, Sapphire, Tanzanite, Turquoise
Zyra is a spirit of the paper, haunting the scenery of “The Great Beast Galio” and watching the story unfold again and again. When the Lunar Players fall into the paper myth-world, Zyra's insatiable curiosity drives her to capture these newcomers, desperate to hold onto change and novelty in a world where the story always remains the same.
The Lunar Players
  • An icon representing WR:Caitlyn/Cosmetics Mythmaker Caitlyn
As the stage manager of the Lunar Players, Caitlyn was tasked with keeping the production on track. But no amount of scheduling could have prepared her for Zoe’s antics. Now Caitlyn’s searching through a fantastical world of paper and myth, desperate to track down Zoe and find a way home.
  • An icon representing WR:Camille/Cosmetics Mythmaker Camille
Assist Director Camille really wanted more say in the creative direction of the performance. Now trapped within the paper world of the play, Camille finally gets to make the cuts and directional changes she’s had in mind.
  • An icon representing WR:Gwen/Cosmetics Mythmaker Gwen
The creative force behind this performance, Gwen spent hours cutting intricate patterns and landscapes to serve as the backdrop for the Lunar Players' rendition of the “The Great Beast Galio.” Now transported into the very world that she designed, Gwen has to catch herself from marveling at the beauty of her creation fully realized and focus on finding a way home.
  • An icon representing WR:Seraphine/Cosmetics Mythmaker Seraphine
The star of the performance, Seraphine was eager to show off her acting chops as the heroine of “The Great Beast Galio.” But after getting trapped inside the story itself, she’ll just have to settle for being the hero that finds them a way out of this papercut reality.
  • An icon representing WR:Zoe/Cosmetics Mythmaker Zoe
Dissatisfied with their dress rehearsal performance, Director Zoe decided method acting would do them some good. So she used her magic to send her performers into the paper world of the play itself! She’s now too busy running from her annoyed actors to do much directing, but she’s more than pleased with their new found vigor!
