Galaxies was a mechanic in Teamfight Tactics during set 3 and set 3.5. The galaxies change how a game is played. Each game, a random galaxy is selected. In future sets this mechanic would be expanded upon in the form of portals, and opening encounters, both would become evergreen.

Galactic Armory All players start with a Rare box contains 3 component items. All players receive the same 3 items. 10%
Manatee's Delight All players receive a free An icon for the item Spatula Spatula at the start of the game. 10%
Plunder Planet All champions have a chance to drop a coin, especially the first one. 10%
Salvage World Selling a champion also breaks all of their finished items into components. 10%
Superdense On reaching stage 3–1, players receive a Rare box contains An icon for the item Force of Nature Force of Nature. 10%
Trade Sector All players receive one free reroll per round. Free rerolls cannot be saved up. 10%
Treasure Trove ALL minions and monsters drop a loot orb. 10%

  • Lilac Nebula Galaxy was called "Purple Haze" during development.
  • Littler Little Legends Galaxy was called "Unhealthy Galaxy" during development and granted "Players begin with 67 health".
  • Medium Legends Galaxy was called "Healthy Galaxy", and then "Not So Little Legends" during development.
  • Plunder Planet Galaxy was called "Space Pirate" during development.
  • Superdense Galaxy was called "Overcrowded Galaxy" during development.
  • Trade Sector Galaxy was called "And You Get A Reroll!" during development.
