Galaxies was a mechanic in Teamfight Tactics during set 3 and set 3.5. The galaxies change how a game is played. Each game, a random galaxy is selected. In future sets this mechanic would be expanded upon in the form of portals, and opening encounters, both would become evergreen.

- Littler Little Legends Galaxy was called "Unhealthy Galaxy" during development and granted "Players begin with 67 health".
- Medium Legends Galaxy was called "Healthy Galaxy", and then "Not So Little Legends" during development.
- Plunder Planet Galaxy was called "Space Pirate" during development.
- Superdense Galaxy was called "Overcrowded Galaxy" during development.
