Fiora has turned down every suitor since she does not want to become a political pawn.
Based on her appearance, Fiora is between her late 20s to early 30s.
In the Be Mine universe, it’s implied that she and Vi are in a relationship.

League of Legends

Fiora is voiced by Karen Strassman, who also voices Cassiopeia, Shyvana and Zyra.
- Karen Strassman also voices her in Legends of Runeterra.^[1]
Fiora's fighting style references Fencing while she herself might have been inspired by Julie d'Aubigny.^[2]
- Her taunt references the 'salute' from duel tradition.
In her joke, Fiora draws Teemo's face in the air.
Her dance references Fred Astaire's to the tune of Puttin' On the Ritz in Blue Skies.

Fiora derives from Sabine theonym Flora, from Proto-Italic *flōs^[3] plus feminine suffix -a.
- Her name might be referencing Fiore dei Liberi and/or Fioretto (Italian: 'foil')
Her house's name is a reference to Nicolo Laurent, former CEO of Riot Games. Alex 'Skribbles' Yee chose his surname without even telling him and because he was "the only french person he knows".
- Having become CEO years after, Laurent only discovered this easter egg during the production of Legends of Runeterra.^[4]
Riposte and 4 Fiora's Riposte/4 Riposte are named after the eponymous fencing move, but its effect is more akin to a Parry, alongside a Riposte.

"Prepare to die!" and "I like you. I hate to kill you." references Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride. ("Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." and "You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.")

"Let them eat swords." might be referencing Let them eat cake.

Her level 1 and 2 splash arts in Legends of Runeterra are the direct prequel of her League of Legends splash art.
- Ashe, Darius, Garen, Tryndamere and Katarina in Pool Party attire.
Her blade is replaced with a Pool Noodle sword.
- Depending on the chroma, the colour might reflect ice lolly flavors.
  - Citrine is possibly lime.
  - Rainbow is the same kind.
  - Sapphire has a melon texture.
  - Pearl might be referencing the Rocket Ice Lolly.

- Two topiaries of Heartpiercer Fiora and Heartseeker Ashe can be seen in the background. They maybe the queens of the Heartseeker world.
