Locations[edit | edit source]

Gorge Entrance

The entrance to Ramshara is deep within the Winged Mountain, marked by a massive spherical door. Beside this door are two massive Yeti statues crucial for unlocking it. Above the structure, several murals depict what appears to be shards of true ice. In the center of these murals, just above the spherical door, stands a massive Yeti statue. Beyond the entrance lies a vast gorge with various-sized Yeti statues scattered throughout. Towards the end of the gorge, it becomes sparsely populated with Yeti dwellings. Yeti would slide through this gorge to enter the city proper.

City Proper

The city proper is located at the end of the gorge and is concealed by a stone dome, which allows natural light from the surface to filter through holes in the structure. Inside the city, you'll find a landscape adorned with various-sized Yeti statues and numerous spherical Yeti dwellings.

One of its most striking features is its magical slides that meander through and around the houses. These slides are constructed from magical ice and defy the laws of natural physics, enabling Yeti to slide both up and down them. These magical slides served as the city's primary means of transportation, allowing the Yeti to navigate their way throughout Ramshara.

City Entrance Overlook

Above the entrance to the city proper, there is a small overlook. Positioned at the front of this overlook, with its back turned towards the city, stands a statue of An icon representing Universe:Anivia Anivia. Adjacent to the statue, there are multiple Yeti drums. These drums, when played in the correct sequence, serve as the means to illuminate the city and activate the gates, which are crucial for the operation of the magical slides throughout Ramshara.

Towards the rear of the overlook, there are three murals. The two murals on either side portray the Yeti engaged in various musical activities, playing instruments such as flutes and drums, as well as singing. The central mural is dedicated to An icon representing Universe:Anivia Anivia, serving as the center piece of the overlook's murals.

Yeti Treasury

Towards the rear of the city proper, lies the Yeti Treasury. This building, according to An icon representing Universe:Willump Willump, houses all of the Yeti's treasures and their history. After accessing the treasury, you must first traverse the foyer, which is adorned with relatively large Yeti statues.

The main hall of the treasury is a dome-like room and lacking a solid floor, revealing a bottomless pit below. In the center of the room, a platform stands, surrounded by are four smaller platforms, each displaying its own mural. By following these murals in the correct order, you can unravel the origin story of the Yeti.

After leaving the main hall, you enter a unique stairway that runs on both the left and right sides of the room. The stairways converge in the center of the room before repeating the pattern a second time, resembling the shape of an "8" from a top-down view.

In the first iteration of the stairs, the room is filled with True Ice. On each side, there is a mural. On the right side, the mural depicts the War of the Three Sisters, while on the left, it portrays the Yeti enjoying their time with An icon representing Universe:Anivia Anivia.

In the second iteration of the stairs, the room is filled with Dark Ice. Again, on both sides, you'll find murals. On the left side, one mural shows the Yeti's magic being stolen by An icon representing Universe:Lissandra Lissandra, and the Yeti returning to their wild state, with their souls wandering as Yeti Echoes. This particular mural was created by An icon representing Universe:Willump Willump, who witnessed this event and lived to tell the tragic story of the Yeti's transformation. On the right, there's another mural of the Yeti enjoying themselves, and in the bottom right corner of this mural, An icon representing Universe:Gnar Gnar is depicted.

At the end of these stairs, you arrive at "Anivia's Chamber". This chamber is adorned with Dark Ice, and at the end, a pedestal that was once used to house the "Heart of the Blue" is situated. Overlooking the pedestal, there is a mural that portrays Anivia.

Culture[edit | edit source]

The Yeti's culture placed a profound emphasis on artistic expression in all its forms, including not only visual arts but also music, dance, and storytelling. The murals in their city served as a canvas to tell stories, document history, and express their emotions and creativity. The Yeti's artistic endeavors captured the essence of their playful nature, reflecting their love for games and the joy they found in their daily lives. Music played a central role in the life of the Yeti. Drums scattered across the city served as both musical instruments and integral components of their culture. These drums are interwoven with the magical slides that crisscrossed the city, hinting at a society built on music, art, and history. The magical slides, in addition to being a mode of transportation, were used for fun and amusement. Yeti of all ages would slide down these enchanting ice paths. The Yeti, according to An icon representing Universe:Willump Willump, were also great singers and sang as a from of amusement.

The Yeti's approach to governance was founded on egalitarian principles. Their lack of a centralized government aligned with their communal values and the idea that all Yeti are equal. Their approach to government was akin to the Notai, emphasizing the importance of community over hierarchy.

The Yeti held a strong aversion to Dark Ice, viewing it as a corruptive and feeble force that contrasted with their cherished True Ice. They were the sole beings endowed with the extraordinary ability to create True Ice, a gift bestowed upon them by An icon representing Universe:Anivia Anivia, whom they revered with great reverence. When inquired if the Yeti worshipped An icon representing Universe:Anivia Anivia, An icon representing Universe:Willump Willump offered a nuanced response, suggesting that their relationship with Anivia transcended simple worship. The Yeti regarded Anivia not merely as a divine entity but as a maternal figure, a nurturing presence in their lives. Their unique bond with Anivia gained them, as well as the Notai, the collective epithet of "The Children of Anivia."
