This template contains various independently retrievable data items about Shaco'sJack in the Box in the form of parameter values of a variable template of choice, in a standardized fashion.
Active:Shaco summons a box at the target location that becomes stealthed after a short time. The box will spring out upon enemy contact, fearing nearby enemies for a short time. Enemy champions hit are also briefly rooted. The box will remain for a few seconds to automatically fire at nearby enemies, dealing magic damage that is increased when attacking only one enemy.
Active:Shaco summons a box at the target location that becomes stealthed after arming over 2 seconds, lasting for up to 40 (+ 10% AP) seconds. The box is invulnerable and untargetable to enemies while stealthed.
The box will spring out upon enemy contact, fearing nearby enemies for a duration, modified to 2.2 seconds against non-champions, and rooting them for a duration, modified to a 1 second root against non-champions. After a 0.15-second delay of the box's activation, enemies hit also have their movement speed reduced. Enemy champions have their movement speed set to a static 100, while non-champions are set to a static 60. The movement speed reduction lasts for the same duration as the fear plus 0.3 seconds.
Fear Duration:
0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 seconds
Root Duration:
0.5 / 0.75 / 1 / 1 / 1 seconds
Slow Duration:
0.8 / 1.05 / 1.3 / 1.55 / 1.8 seconds
Once sprung, the box will remain for 5 seconds, during which it will automatically fire at nearby visible enemies every 0.5 seconds, dealing magic damage with each attack. If the box attacks only one target, it deals increased damage. Boxes deal bonus magic damage to monsters and 50% reduced damage to structures.
The root and fear are applied at the same time. The target cannot be forced to move by the fear during the root.
The target is however allowed to move despite being rooted for the first 0.1 seconds of the root. They can be forced to move by the fear during this time.
Only necessary if the value differs from Jack in the Box.

Transclude this data template, by typing its title between two sets of braces.
Input "pst2", then the desired parameter's name. This returns the parameter's value.
{{Data <champion>/<ability>|pst2|<name of parameter>}}
This process uses the parameter-selection template pst2.
Formatting the data
Various formatting templates can be created in order to present the data in an organized manner within articles, such as in sections, infoboxes, tables (etc.) and combinations of them.
Within the formatting template's page, insert the name of a parameter that is available in this data template between a pair of triple braces.
{{{parameter name}}}
This creates a "variable": the parameter's value will take this variable's place whenever the formatting template uses the data.
Any number of parameters found in this data template can be included in or excluded from the formatting template, as desired.
The formatting template may then be transcluded in an article through the data template.
